Engin Ayça (Director) (Jury President)
Yesterday feeds today, today feeds tomorrow. Engin Ayça is a thought worker who has transformed these days into art with wisdom in his 81 years of life. After graduating from Galatasaray High School in the 1960s, since there was no cinema education in Turkey, he studied cinema direction at Instituto Superiore Dell Opinione Publica and Centro Sperimentale Di Cinematografia schools in Italy and wanted to evaluate everything he learned by coming to his country and making movies.
The 1970s, when he returned to Turkey, were a period in which great transformations were experienced both sociologically and politically, when Yeşilçam cinema made its presence felt most intensely and was excluded by the intellectual segment. The difficult and harsh conditions of the period are far from encouraging Ayça to make films, but she cannot stay outside and far from the cinema. He first worked at the Istanbul University Photo Film Center, and then began his career as a cinema writer, which continued throughout his life. Engin Ayça also has a special place in the field of cinema writing. He has been a strong theoretical writer who does not only look at cinema as an industrial field but meticulously draws the institutional framework that is very rare in cinema literature. His theoretical thought about Turkish cinema has important implications for cinema writers and professionals even today.
Like the Prometheus of modern times, he tries to convey the enlightenment within him to future generations through his cinema, writings and education.
Narges Abyar
He was born in Iran in 1972. Narges Abyar received her BA in Persian Literature. She started writing in 1997. He devoted much of his time to writing, resulting in the publication of 30 books for children, teenagers and adults. She started working in cinema in 2005. Since then, she has shot many short films and documentaries. He made his directorial debut in 2013. He wrote and directed five feature films that were screened and won awards at prestigious film festivals around the world. “Breathe” was announced at the 90th Academy Award OSCAR with the participation of Iran. Narges Abyar was invited to become a Fellow of the Academy in 2020.
Prof. Dr. Ceyhan Kandemir (Academician)
Prof. Dr. Ceyhan Kandemir; He is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, and is also the Head of the International Media Studies Master's Program, which is carried out jointly with Deutsche Welle Academy. Since 2005, it has collaborated and organized Summer Academies with Germany Hochschule Bonn Rhein Sieg, Vienna University Faculty of Communication and similar faculties. His academic fields of study are audiovisual design, image aesthetics and ethics, international television broadcasting, digital television broadcasting, audiovisual production management and problems. Mehmet Güleryüz (Director)
Mehmet Güleryüz was born in Kastamonu in 1966. He studied at the Department of Philosophy at Istanbul University. He worked as assistant director to Yavuz Özkan between 1987 and 1991. He attracted attention with the Turkish Cinema History documentaries he prepared together with Feza Sınar. He was the president of the Young Filmmakers Platform in 1993. He produced the TV series "Su Sinelerini" and "Mualla", which were shot for TRT in 1999 and 2000. In 2003, he became one of the founders of SETEM (Professional Association of Cinema and Television Work Owners).
He is currently the Chairman of SETEM, which has been a member of CISAC since June 1, 2006. The Movie "Havar" was shown in many international festivals. He is the chairman of the "International Silk Road Short Film Awards" festival organized every year by SETEM Academy.
Can Ulkay (Director)
He graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema - TV department. He worked at TRT Istanbul television. Then he entered the advertising industry. He worked as an advertising director for many leading brands in Turkey and the world for approximately 30 years. During this period, he directed more than 1000 commercials for hundreds of brands. The commercials he directed received awards in competitions such as Crystal Apple, Effie, Epica and Cannes.
He started shooting movies since 2015.
Ljdia Musso
Ljdia Musso, Catanzaro 1985, Graduated with Distinction in Communication Sciences.
She specializes in photography and communication and marketing of fashion and luxury goods.
He continued his education in cities such as Rome (UniRoma3, Instituto Cervantes), Barcelona (CCPB), Marseille (Alliance), Paris (IFA Paris, Histoire de parfum) and Milan (IED Milano).
She is a professional photographer, artist and curator of art exhibitions and events.
An active advocate, his major project "Marginality", a documentary photography series depicting the unseen, has been featured in 12 personal exhibitions. His work has also been featured in two articles and two permanent galleries at Repubblica Milano. She also took part in various street demonstrations.
He actively participated in many international group exhibitions in the field of painting and photography and received awards.
Ljdia Musso is the innovator behind the "Caffè Fotografici" event format, a platform that facilitates free events with artists and photographers across its two studios. He also works as a coordinator and trainer at Slow Foto, the training department of Camera Service Italia, a photo service center affiliated with Canon.
Ahmet Alan (Editor)
Ahmet Alan is a graduate of Near East University Faculty of Communication. Alan, who started his career in the field of film editing, attracted attention with his historical documentary works such as 500 Years on the Island, Mother of the Captives: Meryem Atmaca, and Topkapı Palace. At the same time, he edited films that were shown in many national and international festivals, such as Tunnel, And Me, Üç Kuruş, Emanet, Enkaz, 91.1, Yol Ayrımı: Hadi Baba Gene Yap.
Giuseppe Arcieri
Giuseppe Arcieri was born on 27.09.1997 in Foggia, resides in Barletta, is a cinema enthusiast, graduated from the "new art technologies" faculty of the Foggia Academy of Fine Arts in 2022. Lover of Italian cinema, especially neorealist cinema and Sergio Leone, for whom Giuseppe wrote the monograph "C'era una Volta Sergio Leone", distributed by Amazon. During the three-year period, he shot many short films that received worldwide awards. He competed in the "short film" category at David di Donatello for two years. His latest work, "Medea", is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Greek tragedy starring the newly disabled actor Vincenza Dinoia. The student project was produced and supported by the Foggia Academy of Fine Arts and the Region of Apulia.
The key to Medea by Giuseppe Dibenedetto, co-authored by Arcieri and Maria Grazia Memeo, is inclusivity. Filming took place in the ruins of Canne della Battaglia and the salt pans of Margherita di Savoia. Giuseppe continues his studies at the Foggia Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently continuing his education in the first year of the two-year "Cinema, New Media Art" course. Currently working in the WeShort (Short film platform) team, Giuseppe has been the founder and artistic director of the Southern Italy International Film Festival for the last three years. At the second edition, held in Barletta Castle in May 2023, jury president Luca Verdone presented the jury prize, dedicated to director Nico Cirasola.
Ayşe Erbulak (Actor-Writer-Translator)
After working in Günaydın, Güneş and Sabah newspapers, he took part in theater stages at Istanbul Municipality City Theaters, Ali Poyrazoğlu Theatre, Duru Theater and Tiyatro Kedi. She worked at Kanal 6 and Show TV, Kanal D. As well as working in the kitchen of TV channels, he also took part in many television series... At the peak of his career, he immigrated to Norway, received higher education in a completely different field, ran a cafe, and performed in two different Norwegian theater groups at Skatval and Stjordal theaters for 11 years. When he returned to Turkey from Norway, where he stayed for 12 years, he presented the "Mother-Child" program on TRT, broadcast live for 200 episodes. He met the Turkish audience again with his role in "Stjørdal Teater" at the Istanbul Municipality City Theatre, "Young Days". She also proved herself as a writer with her detective novels. In addition to her writing, she also works as a Norwegian-Turkish translator and moderator for many foreign writers who visit our country. He represented our country as the first and only Turkish writer at the Trondheim Krim Festival.

After completing his undergraduate and graduate studies at Ege University, Faculty of Communication, Radio TV and Cinema department, he continued his doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design. Yiğit, who went to Oxford University and Novisad University as a Visiting Researcher, gave lectures and seminars and collaborated on projects in many countries such as Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Georgia and England. Yiğit currently continues to work as a lecturer at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and Television, and is also a co-producer-director of the feature-length documentary film titled Journey to Cilicia, supported by the Ministry of Culture.
Ümit Sarı (Academician)
He was born in Bursa in 1981. He graduated from Istanbul University (IU) Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in 2003. He completed his master's degree in 2006 and his doctorate in 2013 at the IU Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. Sarı, who started working as a Research Assistant at Istanbul University Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in 2005, was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same department in 2014. Sarı, who served as Deputy Dean and various administrative duties for three terms between 2015 and 2022, received the title of Associate Professor in the field of "Communication Studies" in 2020. Sarı, who has worked as a cinematographer and assistant director in various projects, continues his work in the fields of television, social media, new media and cinema at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. He is married and the father of Duru Ece and Mira Nil.
Aysun Akyüz (Director)
Aysun Akyüz was born in Eskişehir in 1978. He graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Cinema and Television in 2000. In the same year, he started his first job in the TV series industry as assistant director of the TV series KEDİ (TGRT).
After working as an assistant director and assistant director in many projects for many years, he made his directorial debut in the TV series Yer Gök Aşk (FOX) in 2011.
Again, the sea series in my heart was selected as "Exemplary Project in Preventing Violence Against Women" by the United Nations Population Fund.
He founded the "One director, one actor" in front of the camera acting workshop, which aims to convey information to new actor candidates from the perspective of director and actor. She held workshops with master actress Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu.

Prof. Dr. Okan Ormanli
He received his undergraduate education at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication. He worked as an editor at TÜRSAK Cinema Foundation between 1998 and 2005. He was on the staff of Istanbul Kültür University, Faculty of Art and Design between 2005-2019. Ormanlı, who has three books on cinema and received the title of associate professor in the field of "cinema" in 2015, has various national and international papers, articles and book chapters on cinema. Okan Ormanlı, who worked full-time at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication between 2019-2022, received the title of professor at the end of 2020. He is currently on the staff of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Art and Design.

Prof. Dr. Deniz Yengin
1978 İstanbul doğumlu Deniz Yengin, İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Ekonomi Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Yüksek Lisans eğitimini İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü İletişim Tasarımı Programı’nda, doktora eğitimini ise Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Bilişim Dalı’nda tamamladı. İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Dekanlığı da yapan Prof. Dr. Deniz Yengin; Araştırma Yöntemleri, Gündem Kuramı, Bilişim Toplumu, Gözetim Toplumu, Teknolojik Determinizm, Dokunmatik Toplum, Dijitalleşme, Etkileşimlilik, Yeni Medya, Dijital Oyunlar ve İletişim sürecinde medya üzerine bilimsel araştırmalar ve çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde 2004-2013 yılları arasında tamamladı. 2004-2007 yılları arasında çeşitli kurumlarda muhabir, editör ve halkla ilişkiler uzmanı olarak çalıştı. 2007–2008 öğretim döneminde doktora araştırma projesini gerçekleştirmek için bir yıl İtalya Napoli Suor Orsola Benincasa Üniversite’sinde doktora öğrencisi olarak bulundu. 2009-2015 yılları arasında Plato Meslek Yüksek Okulu’nda öğretim görevlisi olarak görev yaptı. 2015 yılında Arel Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi’nde öğretim üyesi olarak göreve başladı ve bu görevine devam etmektedir.

Fakültesi, Grafik Tasarım B.lümünü derece ile tamamladı. 2011 yılında Kültür Üniversitesi,
Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, İletişim Tasarımı b.lümünde yüksek lisansını tamamlayan Önder,
2020’de Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü Grafik Tasarım B.lümünde doktora / sanatta yeterliğini
bitirdi. 2008’de HaberTurk, 2015’te ise AlJazeera TV Network yaratıcı medya
departmanlarında tasarımcı olarak görev aldı. 2015’ten sonra medya sekt.rüne veda eden
Önder, 2015-2022 yılları arasında Bilgi Üniversitesi’nde öğretim üyesi; 2020-2022 yılları
arasında, İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi, Görsel Tasarımı B.lüm Başkanı ve öğretim üyesi
olarak görev yaptı. Önder, 2022’den bu yana İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi
Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Bölüm Başkanı ve öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Kuramsal
ve uygulamalı lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyinde dersler veren Önder’in ulusal ve
uluslararası kişisel ve karma sergileri bulunmaktadır. İnşaat ve eğlence sektörlerinde çeşitli
firmalar için tasarım danışmanlığı yapan Önder’in ayrıca, “Z Kuşağı: Eşitlik ve Reklam
Tasarımları”, “Propaganda – Afiş Sanatının İdeolojik Bir Aygıt Olarak Söyleme Tezahürü”
adlı iki kitabı ve ulusal/uluslararası bilimsel makaleleri bulunmaktadır. Önder, etkileşim
tasarımı, göstergebilim, anlambilim, görsel tasarım, oyun, oyunlaştırma, Z kuşağı, propaganda, görsel iletişim, yeni medya, artırılmış, sanal ve karma gerçeklik alanlarında bilimsel ve sanatsal çalışmalar yürütmektedir.
